But you might be wondering, "how the blog's title is relaed to all this?". Well, for those of you more familiar with Micheal Moorcock and (what MM would call) romantic epics (I do hate the term fantasy literature), 'The Black Blade' refers to the infamous rune sword Stormbringer, which Elric of Melnibone yields.
Elric develops a symbiotic relationship with his rune blade and in essence is addicted to the power that Stormbringer gives him.... so sort of like gamers and games!
